On Tuesday evening, Casa Valle—the interior design gallery of Jane Keltner de Valle and architect Giancarlo Valle—hosted an elegant gathering to celebrate Lafayette 148’s latest capsule collection, which supports the art conservation charity Save Venice. The event, cohosted by Sotheby’s Magazine and editor in chief Kristina O’Neill, blended fashion, art, and philanthropy in a memorable evening.
This collaboration is part of Lafayette 148’s ongoing support for Save Venice, an organization dedicated to preserving Venetian art and architecture. In 2021, the brand became one of the sponsors for the restoration of Virgin in Prayer by Giulia Lama, a rare 18th-century painting by a female artist. Emily Smith, creative director of Lafayette 148, explained that the collection celebrates this restoration, combining fashion and cultural heritage.
Guests, including Lauren Santo Domingo, Amy Astley, and Dasha Zhukova, wore pieces from Lafayette 148’s sophisticated collection as they enjoyed a candlelit dinner in Casa Valle’s stunning dining room. Describing the vision for Casa Valle, Jane Keltner de Valle shared, “The idea behind this space is that yes, it’s a gallery, but we also want it to be a place where people can come together, be inspired, start new conversations, and leave with new ideas.”
The evening was a tribute to the synergy between fashion, art, and cultural preservation, set against the intimate and inspiring backdrop of Casa Valle.
